Research Opportunities

Join our Research Group!

Are you passionate about structural biology, RNA-protein interactions, and cutting-edge research in gene regulation? At The Stefl Lab we offer an exciting and interdisciplinary research environment where students can work at the forefront of structural biology.

In our lab, you will work on fundamental questions in gene expression by studying RNA–protein complexes that control transcription, RNA processing, and RNA degradation. You will gain hands-on experience with modern structural biology approaches, primarily cryo-EM and NMR, complemented by biochemical and biophysical methods.

We provide a collaborative and supportive environment, close supervision, and opportunities to develop independent research projects.

We welcome students from backgrounds in biochemistry, molecular biology, biophysics, or related fields. Prior experience is helpful but not required—motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn are most important.

If you are interested, we would love to hear from you!
